Let's see ... God is Spirit and therefore has no gender.

But let's try to figure it out ... The holy spirit is described by John in his Gospel in chapter 14 as the "helper." Adams wife was descibed the same way in Genesis 2. Just as Eve was a complement and helper to Adam so the holy spirit is God's helper, and a complement to him. Soooo ... The Holy Spirit is God's Wife!

That's a very good question? I am also trying to understand this myself. I came up with these possible answers, either Mary (Jesus's Mother), Mary Magdalene (who according to the Davinci code was Jesus' wife, and therefore if Jesus is God then it makes perfect sense to also say, Mary Magdalene is God's wife); or "Sofia"- who according to the Gnostic Gospel and other writings is the source of all wisdom, by which creation was created; or "Mother Nature"...Well who ever she is, God is definitely married. I came to the conclusion that if there is a God then there must be a Goddess as well, this is what the religion of Wicca is based on anyways... Hope this helps somewhat... (Or Perhaps I am God's wife-LOL)

We have one Mother in Heaven, but we don't know Her name because God didn't want everyone to take Her name in vain the way a lot of people do with His. We do not know the process that Mary went through to conceive Jesus Christ. That is why it was a miracle, a virgin birth. It may have been a highly advanced form of artificial insemination, but again, we don't know how it took place. I believe the scriptures when it says it was a virgin birth. Have a happy day.

Didnt have one! Jesus was "called" the Son of God, because he humbled himself, and was made in the likeness of Man.

The term "Son" of God shows linage with God, or His "relationship" with the Father, was "as" a Son.

It's the "Triunity" of the God-head - The Father, the Word (Son), the Spirit.

Your question is in regards to who was God's wife, and not who Jesus' mother was. In that case he didnt have one.

God does not need a partner to create Jesus ... same as God created Adam and Eve . God is a major spirit not seen who created the Universe.

Well, Jesus is God's son, and Mary carried him in her womb, so earthly speaking Mary is God's virginal wife. If you read the Bible, you will know the whole Jesus story, his family and his ascendants. He is descendant from king David, because Mary's father was from the same David's line. Read the Bible, so you will know more.

God the Father asked the Virgin Mary to risk her life and her love to become the mother of his Child. The ultimate in celestial suroggocy. Is giving a couple who can't have children a child immoral? Then why is Mary's surroggocy so wrong of Him to ask?
