try milkshakes, eaten with a spoon, and soft foods,,,,, they will hurt for a few days,, but then start getting better,, take tylenol or aspirin for the pain,,,,,,, mashed potatoes,,,,,, soup,,,,,, are good

It will hurt for a while, but it gets much better with time. Your teeth are going to do a lot of adjusting when you first have the braces, but as time goes by it will just be about small changes.

when you first get braces it hurts to eat hard foods, so you should eat soft foods, nutrition shakes and fluids. take some aspirin or tylenol to lessen the pain and in 1 to 2 week your brace won't hurt a lot any more and you'll be able to eat harder foods.

drink lots of fluids like nutrient shakes and soup also oatmeal porridge.no sodas and nothing too cold.
