Women can ovulate ANY time! Even during their period. This was sternly made clear to me by my OB-GYN in my ...late teen years.

You can get pregnant anytime, whether you're on your period or not. The percentage of possibility may decrease at different points in your cycle, but it is always a possibility! Especially when you have unprotected sex!!! There is a pill called Plan B that can be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex that significantly reduces the likelihood of you getting pregnant. It does not protect against STDs or anything and shouldn't be used as a regular form of birth control!!! You need to use birth control, especially if you aren't using condoms!!! Or in addition to using condoms. Be safe! It is not worth the ongoing anxiety and frustration of always wondering if you're pregnant when you really don't want to get pregnant.

Peace and blessings.

If you have a regular cycle of 30 days, then you usually ovulate on day 16. It's a stretch but could happen. Then of course there is always that off chance that you actually ovulated a little early this month. I say take a test if you are late. And remember, any unprotected sex can lead to babies and AIDS.
