You wouldn't lose that much. Your body would be starving a bit, and would conserve energy. That's not a happy way to live, and it's hard to keep up for very long. When you returned to eating normally, your body would store that food for the next famine. And that storing is in the form of extra fat on your hips, waist and tummy.
If you dieted like this too long, your fast metabolism would slow down, too, meaning an extra difficult time losing the extra pounds. It's far better if you exercise more and watch what you eat more carefully.

Hm....Not the sharpest idea :(. See what your basically doing is well your limiting your body sure your metabolism will take in the food faster, but why not try and attempt to just go on a 2,000 calorie diet? Its safer and its not really honestly all that much food. Also, aim for the fruits, veggies, and proteins (fish and seafood products mostly) if you want to keep weight off. Lastly, if you want to keep off that weight, just 30 minutes after dinner each day go out and walk everyday whether with a friend or alone. :) Its helps :)
Hope this helps :)

It depends on how much you weigh and how many calories are in those little bits? A "little bit" of mayo is 200-300 calories alone.
You should see Lynda who lost 213 lbs in 10 months with a fast diet.
How do you know your metabolism is fast? Why do you need to diet then?

yes, you do lose muscle mass at that 'starvation' rate. Fad diets if followed will make you lose 5-6 lbs a week with exercise but you can not sustain that for long. Your hair will fall out, your teeth will suffer and so will you muscles, bones, and brain function. You don't have to eat a lot, just eat smart. Exericse and diet together is best.

You will effectively starve yourself which will slow down your metabolism and your body will begin to store as much fat as possible so when you stop you will gain weight very fast because your metabolism will be very slow.
