Ok, we had been together for about 8 months, i joined the military and she didnt seem to have a problem with it, she was proud of me and waited for me while i was in basic training, about 3 months after basic i found out i was getting deployed and told her, she then said she couldnt see me anymore with really no reason to leave me......why did she leave me?(FYI, i come home next month, i know she's still single, should i go back and try to get her back?)

Coming from a "brat" of 19 years, I've seen it all hunny, and trust me, a girl like this will never wait for you. If the Army is your life for a while you will be deployed again and where will she be when this happens? In Jodie's arms? If she couldn't wait for you while you were away, then she is obviously not serious about wanting to be with you. Look for someone who can be with a military man, someone who will be there for you no matter where you're at.

Try to maintain a relationship with her that's friendly if you want to get back together with her. Maybe she'll come back realizing what she misses with you.
It could be the thought of losing you that scared her away this time.
Often when people get more and more serious, certain factors will scare them away because they feel like they're protecting themselves from getting hurt.
That might be her case.
If you think she's worth it, than fight for her affection. Maybe that's all she needs to see.

My attitude toward a gf like that would be: "Don't let the door slap you in the posterior on the way out for the last time". Move on. Plenty of fish in the sea, and that one was a rotten mackeral. You deserve better that that.
And - you are top flight people in my eyes - I am personally grateful you stood in harms way for our benefit. I salute you man!

You have to give it a least a try if you have feelings for her. Call her when you get back and really listen to what she says. If she really wants to see you, go ahead. She sounds like she might have moved on, so don't put yourself in a position to get hurt again. There is always someone else.

she may have realized that this is to much for her to take, and ended it. if your back for good, see her, see whats up. but one time i had a problem like this, and an old man, who i worked for and trusted, said "forget her, ...just forget her." which at the time was one of the hardest things to hear, but in retrospect, it was really the best advice i got.

dont go beg for her. sounds like she didnt take the relationship seriously and didnt want to wait around for you, rather then cheat on you she just broke it off. if your not wanting anything serious then i guess it couldnt hurt by why go through that again, and she will do something like this again, when you appear to be upset and hurt over this

thats up to you..if you still love her...maybe she's just afraid that youre not gonna come back to her anymore, thats why she broke up with you..and maybe the reason why she remained single was because she hopes that youre gonna come back for her...

find someone else she dumped you for no reason, unless she gives you a decent reason for leaving you when you really needed you dont talk to that selfish girl again
