If she doesn't take action (I mean, real action) he is going to make her life miserable and bitter. He doesn't care for anybody but himself, and these kind of people are socially and emotionally impaired. He needs profesional help. but if he doesn't relize it, nobody will be able to help him. the best way to deal with this is a break up. there is no other way.
One more thing, her boyfriend DOES NOT love that kid, it is just an emotional weapon he uses to keep her. And she doesn't love him, either, she just thinks she does.
God bless you and give you wisdom.

You cannot control your friend. She will make whatever decision she makes. But keep a close eye on the situation to see if this boyfriend is not allowing her to end the relationship. In that circumstance certain things can be done with the cops and so forth. But otherwise it's really her call. Be supportive of whatever she decides. That's your job as her friend. You have to appreciate the fact that when we look at other people's lives, nothing ever seems like a hard decision. But that's just because, well...it isn't our life.

Sounds like something the legal system is going to have to be brought in to resolve.

Baby daddy, abusive boyfriend, baby caught in the middle. AND THEY LIVE WITH HER MOTHER SO THIS DRAMA IS IN SOMEONE ELSE'S RESIDENCE?! She also needs prayer on both her situation and her maturity level.
