The Bible was written to control the masses. There are some tidbits of truth in it, but you've got to search carefully to find it. The kingdom of heaven is within and that is where the sincere seekers of truth should begin.

He didn't need to leave a book. He left His Spirit. The same Spirit that is evident in the writings of the Bible. That is why, though written by men, translated and interpreted differently throughout the years, we know that it still is the Word of God. If you do not have His Spirit, then you look at all this as foolishness. You can only receive the Spirit, and know with certainty for yourself, when you take that step of faith and believe Jesus is who they say He is, and that He did what they say He did. Seriously. It is the Spirit that is our helper and teacher... not religion, doctrine, man or books.
God did write something by His own hand, and mankind still has problems accepting it.. The 10 commandments, written on tablets of stone. By it, we are all identified as sinners. Now He writes these same things on the hearts of those who believe. If you were to summarize these laws, It would simply be" Love God, with all your heart, mind and soul... and love one another as yourself. Christ died for our sins, so that we may be forgiven, and that His Spirit could live within us. God, by His mercy and grace, has made a way that we can truly do just that. It's all really that simple.

God inspired the men. He has ultimate control and power: Getting a few men to write what he wanted wouldn't be that hard. It isn't up to men, men are here to serve and glorify God. If one believes in the power of God, but not the divinity of the Bible, they condradict themselves, because God has the power to control everything. Who is man to question why God does what He does? He created you.

The bible is "inspired by God"? That is absurd! Did He come down and move their hands?
If it was inspired by God, there would be no hate and bigotry. There would be no hell! It would be a much more logical look at a loving God.

How can absolutely everyone have faith a e book approximately evolution, or the great Bang or the different medical theories as being one hundred% precise? you relatively do no longer could desire to have faith the entire e book in case you do no longer prefer to, yet basically have faith the section that asserts to settle for Jesus Christ as your Savior because of the fact he died on your sins. it relatively is the section that'll get you into heaven and save you out of eternal hell.

When you have more then 50 authors covering a 1500 year period, most of hum never read the others writings and yet they agree, then one must admit that it was inspired by God.

Do you realize that many of the predictions in Bible have come true? Is it not possible that these men who wrote the Bible were writing what God was telling them?
