"Do not think that I have come to send peace on earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword. I am sent to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law" (Matthew 10:34-35)

“I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence. (Luke 19:26-27)

Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man intimately. But all the girls who have not known man intimately, spare for yourselves. (Numbers 31:17-18)

Muslims believe in all Prophets sent by Allah, and so do not misuse or misinterpret the religious texts of other faiths in order to defame them.

Remember this are not my words they are bible words.

Jesus did not teach violence but just the opposite, even on the cross after that viscious flogging He asked for their FORGIVENESS. He knew those who accepted His Spirit and it's direction would be in direct opposition to those in the flesh. I might more rightfully ask you the same thing you're asking others. Can you find a scripture boasting of any warlord desiring 6-9 yr old girls and bouncing with them?

It is True That the things Jesus taught brought division amoung people, but you know why, we were coming from the law age to the grace age, Now as far as what the Bible says, I am very much aware of what it says & what it means, there is a big differnce in knowing what it says, & also what it means, I see where you try to take a few verses out of context to try to make a sermon, Now you said that Muslims believe in every Prophet sent by what you call allah Then why don't you believe thre is no Prophets today, Read Ephesians 4:11-15 I will only type a little of it, I mean hey since you want to use our bible, let's go all the way with it, 11: And he gave some Apostles & some Prophets & some Evangelists, & some Pastors, & some teachers, for what & how long, For the perfecting of the saints,---- Till we ALL come into the UNITY of THE FAITH & THE KNOWLEDGEOF WHO? Mohammed, No, Into the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of MOHAMMED, NO Again, But the fulness of CHRIST, Now do you want to continue, I am not a novice in the scriptures, I have been a christian for over 36 yrs. So now if you are going to try to take a verse out of context to try to prove a point Then at the end of your story, you will run out of road, while I will still have road upon road to go. Now Since you claim to be a muslim & try to use our bible, show me in our bible where it tells me or anyone else to strap a bomb on them to kill people, And By the way, let's add a little more scriptures Ephesians 4:4-6 There is One body---- One Lord One Faith One Baptism, One GOD & father of allwho is above all & through all & in you all, Now Muslims thinks that the Holy Ghost or the comfortor as I have been told by some Muslims, That The comfortor is Mohammed, When it clearly states That it is God in us

Some people consider what the Bible has to say in its entirety. Others cherry pick to support a position that they have already taken. Still others quote a passage in direct contradiction to its intended purpose. See, for example, Satan's citation at Luke 4:9-11.

You cited Matthew 10:34-35 but it must be understood in its own context and in comparison with such scriptures as John 15:20-21 and Acts 14:2, 5.

This in-depth consideration of the subject makes it clear that what causes the division and strife - even the violence - is not Jesus at all but, rather, the response of those who reject his message.

I leave the remaining alleged proofs in your post for others to handle.

Those words of Jesus are intended, I believe, to mean that some will deny truth and attack those who embrace it. In this world people attack others who embrace peace and justice because these same folks do not want their unbelief along with their lies, murder, theft and rape exposed. The truth stands by itself but lies must be protected from exposure.

People deny and persecute the Messengers of God when they appear because their religion is run by clergy who do not want their little money/power maker to be trashed by the incoming new Message which is pure and unsullied, as yet, by the clergy.
Not long after the new Message arrives and the Messenger has been nastily treated and usually cruelly dispatched the clergy takes over and twists the new Message to suit their purposes so that they can manipulate the people. After the Messenger has been gone from the earth awhile few people remember and understand the actual words of that One because of all the noising of the clergy.

His Holiness Muhammad endlessly extolled the prophets of the bible and His Holiness Jesus the Christ along with the counsel that those holy souls gave to a wayward humanity. So as a Muslim how can you cavil against the Message of the bible? Isn't it true that the real problem with any religious Message is the people who claim to embrace it? Could it be true that those who claim to embrace the bible don't get it? All but the Messengers and a few other holy souls are fallible so we must do our own very careful investigation to get to the truth otherwise we miss our boat when it arrives and it leaves without our sorry persons.

First I want to point out that your verse from Numbers (Numbers 31:17-18) refers to the things the Israelites were told by God to do to the Midianites (because they had done really bad things to the Israelites.)

Second the passage in Matthew refer to the things in the last days, but the verses before and after basically explain that Jesus' true followers are spared His wrath.

And the passage in Luke is part of a larger parable that Jesus was telling. Was a story about a king who gave a sum of money to 3 men. Two of the men tried to make the into more by investing it but the third hid it so no one would steal it.
The king came back and was happy with the first two men because they made more money off what they had been given, but the third man he took the money back from and gave it to the first man. The passage you have there is just part of what the king was saying after taking the money back.

My point, Read the whole bible before you claim that the Bible has bad things in it.

Also with what your saying (you shouldn't believe the bible because there is so much violence in it) I suppose any student shouldn't believe their history books because there are wars in them. That's what your implying when you say that. Yet we know those wars have happened. You can't say a history book is bad because it talks about wars just like you can't say the Bible is bad because it talks about people who die.

The reason, I believe what's written in the Bible is because the Word of God says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." (2Timothy: 3:16-17)

The Bibles also says, "the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force." We're living in a violent world because of the consequences of man's sin; or the disobedience to the WORD of GOD. (Matthews: 11:12) (Isaiah: 1: 19-20)

It's also written in the Bible that there are good forces and evil forces as well, and that the same GOD who inspired His written Word or the Bible created both for his own divine purpose. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things." (Isaiah: 45:7)

The Bible says that, "the wisdom of the earth's wise men shall perish because their hearts are far from him." (Isaiah: 29:10-14) You'll one day find that only the Word of God will stand forever. see: (Isaiah: 40:8)

Well I do not believe in it, but there is not that much violence. There are only three people killed in the new testament. But considering all the people killed through violence through out the world. The old bible is not that bad.

Oh no, here we go again. Goodness you are intelligent - not! I have read both books and each is respectable. A good Muslim does not seek to cut other relegions and or their books down just to make themselves look great and or satisfy a grudge.

You are right. Church people say bad things about Islam and other religions whose God is not Jesus, but they don't know their own Bible.
If they actually knew the Bible they would not be so quick to spout it.
