My computer has a CD writer (nero). Will it enable copying MP3 files to a DVD? If not, what should I do? Should I purchase a DVD writer and instal it? Is it aailable in the internet free of cost?

writer dvd use dvd writer. if you have a dvd writer when you setup the dvd writer driver then use nero you can writer dvd .

A CD writer cannot burn to a blank DVD, nor read a DVD. You will need a combo DVD/CD drive to do what you are asking. Installing a new drive isn't all that difficult, but if you're not handy at all in working inside a pc, then you're better off taking the unit to a pc shop.

a dvd writer is peice of hardware and nero is the software used to burn to a dvd/cd.. well if you already have nero installed, u might just have a cdrw drive, so u would buy a dvd writer from a pc shop. and that contains a guide.

No a CD RW will only allow you to write on CDs not DVDs.
If you need to write a DVD you need DVD RW. You can install it into your PC , if you don't like the idea installing an internal DVD RW then get a cheap external DVD DRW.
