We dont talk much and we both like each other (she indirectly likes me-flirts). Last time I talked to her was a week ago and now im in winter break. I want to surprise her by calling her even though she didnt give me her number. Can i make her melt when she asks (if she does) why didnt u talk to me for a while. I then say b/c I never really realized what a beautiful young woman you are.

I got the number from school directory. Also I dont stalk her; I dont follow her home, call her 50 times a day, or etc

Personally if I havent given someone my number there is a reason. If they end up calling me I might get annoyed or think I am being stalked.
I dont think the question will be 'why didnt you talk to me'' but ''where did you get my number???''.
Also, you can leave the beautiful young woman statements for when and if you go out together.

You are on the right track. Yes I think she will be very surprised and women love to hear that we are beautiful. Go with the plan but if you know where she lives call her from outside and have her go check the door. When she opens the door be standing there on the phone with a bunch of roses for her. And maybe a necklace or bracelet wouldn't hurt either.
