New Year's in Japanese?

How do I write this in Japanese with kanji:

- "Happy New Year's" (Whatever the appropriate equivalent is.)

- "Deliver on New Year's." (written in red on mail to be delivered on New Year's)

I know there are specific phrases for these situations, please give me that and not just a translation.

I'd really appreciate it if you can do it in kanji. I have a word processor that automatically converts/gives a drop-down list of kanji, so I need to at least know a few radicals in each kanji so I can tell which one to choose.

The most commonly used phrases are those the above persons said.

There are lots of phrases used for it. I write some of them.

あけましておめでとうございます
謹賀新年
賀正
迎春
頌春
謹んで新春のお慶びを申し上げます
謹んで新年のご祝辞を申し上げます
初春のお慶びを申し上げます

As for Deliver on New Year's, we have New Year's greeting cards used only for new years called "nengajyo". They are similar to Christmas cards in America? I don't know much about them, though.

When we post nengajyo after 15th of December, mailmen deliver them on 1st of January. No stamps like Deliver on New Year's needed. Just using nengajyo works.

If you write it on a card, 要元日配達 sounds good Japanese. It means it's necessary to deliver on New Year's. Of course, the phrase the above person said also works.
