It means what she said...she needs space. She needs to re-evaluate her feelings for you. Yes, it may end...but, then again, she may come back because she realized she loves you. Give her the space she needs, and while i know its hard, if she decides she's done, have respect for that and let her go. Good luck, honey.

I'm perhaps a bit cynical when it comes to this. The prevailing wisdom is that "I need some space/time off" means "I want to see other people". I know that this is difficult (I've been there). However, IMO, the best thing you can do is not act desperate or clingy. Be respectful of her wishes and lovingly let her do what she wants to do. In the meantime, engage in some introspection and try to figure out if you were doing anything that would inadvertantly make her feel like this. Take care of yourself - execrcise, get in shape, spend time with friends... You can't force someone to love you. If you were meant to be together, she'll come back. If not, you will meet others. However hard it is to let someone go, you will find happiness again :)

Well a few things. She could just want a little time to do things she wants to do without you or spend some time with her girlfriends or be alone. It could be she feels you're trying to be too serious with her quicker than she wants. She could be thinking she likes someone else better and wants to find out. I was with hubby more on than off for 9 years before we married and took a month off cuz I thought I wanted to see other people then realized I wanted to stay with him. It doesn't necessarily mean she doesn't like you anymore.

Don't push her to go further physically than she wants to. Let her make the first moves. And make sure she knows you will always be there for her no matter what happens.

It really meens not that she doesnt like u and would like to break up just that she may want to look around feel some freedom without u for awhile it may seem wierd or mean but really it is just a way for her to think do i still want him to b mine or do i need to find someone new.....She doesnt want to do it automatically cause she doesnt know she wants some time to think.........And to make it not worse dont bother her about it just leave her alone for a while and in about a week or so ask her how things are going keep it kool.......

i did this once and it basically means that she wants to see if she can find someone better but still have the security of knowing that you'll still be around in case she can't. i'm sorry but that's the truth. you should break it off with her completely and don't let her use you like this.

It probably means that she wants the freedom to date someone else. At least she's breaking it off with you first and not cheating.

it means she wants to screw other people for awhile and see if she can find someone else who is better in bed than you. sad but true...sorry.
