I am doing a science fair project and I need to know how .jpg (JPEG) files are saved. Please give me an extensive and full explanation (e-mail it to me if you need to). Please I need this information ASAP. Thanks.

No on eis going to do your project for you. That's point of school is to learn, not have people baby you through it. All I can tell is that a program (such as Adobe Photoshop) will compress the pixels of an image and save it as a jpeg. The same goes for gif, tiff, and png images. There are other types too.

what do you mean. everything is saved the exact same way. if you save something then it is just stored. i do not understand what you are trying to say
