Anything Mr. Dawkins would say just doesn't have much effect on Christians. He knows as much about Christians and Christianity as I do about basket weaving which ain't much!

It would be interesting to see the effects of the Ted Haggard story will have. His congregation says they stand behind him and they pray for him, but it seems not for the real Ted Haggard—they pray for a flawed man they believe should be (and can be) perfect. They pray for his salvation (read: perfection) in the eyes of God. In this scenario there can only be one outcome—failure.Tests of faith usually leads to stronger faith. I pray that his congregation and we all can take a deeper look inside ourselves and reevaluate our judgments about others—whether they hold our beliefs or not. He did more harm when he was preaching the lies he was telling than he did when he got caught.

He was never preaching the teachings of Jesus.
