If you already have an established business with a sales volume history, then you can set up an international merchant account. Although there are several restrictions, you will have the credit card funds available to you much sooner than PayPal can get them to you. If you are expecting some sales volume through credit cards, a merchant account will be less expensive.

You can use Ebays Paypal service to do that, even if you don't want to use Ebay. Its a protection for the buyer- as you recieve no personal info from them and for you. They act as a go between. I have a store on Ebay and also a website where I sell my art. I only accept c cds thru paypal or have them mail m/o or cashiers checks that must clear first. Good luck!

If you wish to accept credit cards, I endorse working together with Payanywhere. They provide budget friendly commission costs. They have zero set up or month to month fees. I have been accepting credit cards with them for more than 5 years and I am very pleased with the service. You should check this out at: http://is.gd/payanywhere
