Don't worry..

This is totally normal. some people have a fourth molar, a third incisor in the middle or in the palate.

Your options are:
1- leave it as it is if it's not bothering you.
2- extract it

It's better to take radiographs before extraction to make sure it's not close to any vital things which could be effected by extraction.
Even if you decide to keep it, I would recommend taking a radiograph too to make sure it's not causing root resorption in adjacent teeth.

A friend on mine had an extra tooth, She had it extracted without any problems. It was hurting her before the extraction.

i had that happen. they were putting braces on and they pulled a bunch of baby teeth out then they attached a very small chain and lever with spring to another tooth. and the chain slowly pulled the tooth down from the palot of my mouth and they used braces to put it in position. it was pain full. i wish they left it where it was.

hi tere..i am a dentist..
surprised to hear abt the extra tooth!! so what u planni to do with that.? i thnk u can extract it..it wont be real tooth..its size will be smaller..if u can post a PIC of that, then it will be easier for me to tel, then..take care..
