God, in the sense, that they think everything revolves around them and they truely think that they are better than EVERYONE.

There are many egoists in this world, regligious ones and non-religious ones. If they reach a point of megalomania their superiority complex has reached the point of being psychologically pathological.

I am a Goddess but i never said i was better than anyone, I was born into privledge, but my many incarnations have been challenging and a few were downright cruel. Like for instance, I was stabbed in the side in a war, I was trapped and toyed with as a fox; before the hunter actually shot me, my head was lopped off by my father, I was raped and strangled, and another God wanted to mess with my preganancy. Gods do make mistakes too, I know people dont like to hear that, but its true and thats why humans can become Gods because there is some common ground between a God and a human, not much but some.

Yes, and I'm sure people like that are common pretty much everyone. All it takes is an over-inflated sense of confidence and bla-zam! The God syndrome sets in. True story

When I read your question, my answer was clear. First, I must admit that of the people I have addressed, I don't think any of them considers themselves God in such a way that they are better than everyone else.

On the other hand, everyone is a reflection God, so if they say, I am God, then they serve others, rather than themselves. It's ancient Jewish theology as well, that you treat others according to that which they are, a reflection of God. In this way, it is far simpler to have human unity, recognizing both you position as servant (as God) and you fellow man's position to be served (as God).

A remarkable number of believers think that they can make statements and then claim those those statements are supported by a god. That's the same thing, as far as matters.

No-one speaks for god. If there's a god who wants something from me, he'll come ask for it in person. If you can't handle that fact, you're neither much of a person nor much of a believer.

Oh, and now people give me thumbs-downs for that statement. Pretty revealing condemnation of religion, wouldn't you say?

I would say it's time for all of us to understand we are god. My friends and I understand this. The word which embodies this understanding is 'Namaste' (pronounced Nah-mah-stay) which means 'I recognize the divine being you are'. Namaste reciprocally implies that I too am a divine being.

We are all the co-creators of everything which we experience, each of us has divine powers and we use those powers all the time to create this world we share with one another. The illusion that we are separate mortal beings is only that, an illusion.

We are all joined together intimately by virtue of our origin, and in our ultimate realization of who we are we exist as only one being, we realize ourselves as god/ess.
