yes ...there is a huge difference.sikh guru s were hindus no doubt but they started their own religion.Tthis doesnt mean that there is no difference in hindus and sikhs
They follow different paths.
Sikhs dont believe in moorti poojan or idol worship.
no superstitions,no caste system,no fasts etc
There r so many other differences

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IN THE HINDU AND SIKH. SIKH IS ONE OF THE PART OF HINDU RELIGION. IT IS CREATED FROM THE HINDU ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THEY KEEP LONG HAIR. ANY HINDU CAN BE SIKH AND ALL THE SIKHS ARE HINDU.

It is only to oppose the Muslims who illtreated the Hindus that the Sikh class came into existence out of he Hindus who decided to oppose the Muslims fiercely . In the course of time , it has come to remain a separate religion in view of the mundane advantage that groups of religions as minorities happen to enjoy under our useless constitution.which has become an instrument of dividing people on the basis of castes and religions .

on the whole hindus and sikh are considered to be hindus only......but sikhs are different ,,they have diff religious practices,,,some different ideals,,,,,but there exists no big difference

Sikhism is originated from Hinduism.Basically there are no difference between them except their appearance, way of prayer.

Sikhism was inspired by hinduism. However the difference is that they follow teachings of Gurus (prophets).
