No. You could get charged with copyright infringement and if there is a trade or service mark involved, infringement on those also. People frown on other people stealing their copyrighted material and lawyers love to sue people for these infringements.
Not a wise Idea. Heavy fines and jail time. These are considered felonies and there are no second chances. People who work hard for and creating their material have the law behind them when it comes to someone stealing their work. Thats why there are copyrights and trademarks. They are not there to look good.
They are there to protect the work from some thief. Suppose you wrote a real nice poem and you were proud of it. Then someone seen it. Stole the words and plastered it all over the internet as theirs then copyrighted it and sold it to a publishing firm and made money off it. Would you be mad? What would you do?
That is a door you should not open. Lots of bad things behind it,

It is done every day and most get away with it but some are having to pay heavily. Is you use something that someone else wrote then why not say so and give them the credit they deserve.

People use wikipedia a lot and most of it is just copy and paste from other books. Some is original but often untrue.

It's copyright infringement, and you could ge sued by the copyright owner. Simply changing names or a few lines of the story do not make it an original work - it is a 'derivitive work' and is still covered under the original copyright.

You will absolutley be charged with plagiarism. Lately, there have been many new laws passed with the growing popularity of the internet that address internet plagiarism. Don't disrespect someone who spent all that time and effort to write. That's horrible disrespect to the writer.
