I know you mean well. I am a christian and I was what they called a Jesus Freak back in the day, so I have done my share of proselytizing.

This is not a question, really and this is not the place for you seek to do.

When you alienate your target audience (those you are trying to save) you will get no where. God doesn't want us to be rash or offensive when we witness because he knws this does not work. It took me some years to learn this.

If you are trying to teach a child to catch you don't hiy him in the face with the ball first. You teach him to trust you and not be afraid of the ball.

Food for thought.

God Bless and Merry Christmas

No thank you, I've already been there and done that. I've read the bible in many different translations and found too many incongruities. I've done years of research on the subject of Jesus, and unfortunately could not find any historical evidence of his existence. Upon further research, I found too many similarities in ancient pagan texts that describe the god-man who died for his people and rose again.. I discovered the marriage of pagan and messianic jewish views that created "christianity" for no other reason than power and political gain, and the horrors of the "convert or die" conquest, crusades and inquisition that the Church perpetuated on mankind.
I cannot accept this tenet as my way of life.
I respect that you want to believe this, though. And I understand why you feel the need to 'share the gospel' with others.

Thank God that "badferret"cannot get out of the plan of God. Once you accept Christ as Savior he locks you into his plan and eternal life. Maybe he should try finding a Pastor that translates from the original languages. I tried a lot of Churches and was never happy. I now have a non-resident Pastor who provides tapes and books for free. R.B. Thieme, Jr., Bible Ministries.com or Berachah.org.
We all will always have the sin nature with us. I have learned how God solved the problem . It is called"rebound and keep moving. "
There is great peace and happiness in the Lord. He wants us to be relaxed and happy. Thank you for wanting to spread the "Good News" at this holiday season. Peace out.

God doesn't exist, Jesus was not a real person, and nobody died on a cross for me because of some dumb story of a woman eating an apple. How about I help you to regain a functioning brain, and teach you about critical thinking.

I'd rather be circumcised by a Cuisinart than help someone become a delusional superstitionist.

You can't even communicate effectively with the written language but you think you can decide how people should live?
Cute.
