And THEN Yahoo decides to take off the "discuss this" option?
We are in a war! Not in a political correctness crisis! To the government that is prosecuting these men, instead of standing up for them, I am ASHAMED at the lack of support being shown to our guys that are doing what they have been trained to do. When they can no longer get people to join the military and we get everything taken away because everyone is AFRAID to defend us, then what? Also will Yahoo censor this question? They certainly did not give us the option to respond to the news article!

I can not speak about Yahoo censoring their website, but as for the Marines in question, if they are guilty, they do not deserve for the United States to "stand behind them" because they were NOT trained to murder innocent civilians and there is absolutely no possible justification, if the report is true, that would excuse their behavior.

Service members that commit these heinous acts have dishonored their special trust of representing the United States, and, in doing their crimes, have made the situation worst by giving the terrorist a rally call to recruit more terrorist. There is a saying, are we making more terrorist then we're killing?

People need to be afraid that if they commit crimes, especially these heinous crime, they will be prosecuted and serve lengthy prison terms, if not their lifetime, or in the worst of cases, face the death penalty.

My family is a Military family and has been for a long time. My son is an Iraqi veteran, USMC, Things do get crazy during a fire fight or an engagement. But this was a case of out right revenge and murder. This was not a threat. I fully support our troops. The people who commit atrocities only disgrace their service and turn people against us.

There are rules of engagement, and it appears the these Marines significanlty violate them. Imagine you are simply walking out of your home after a party, and suddenly were acosted and attacked by armed men gunning you down. I don't believe you would be happy to be in that confrontation, nor were the Iraqi civilians who were slaughtered in this instance. In every war the innocents are the true victims.

If they dishonored the corps they deserve nothing but a kick
in the face. This is not about defending someone and accidentally
killing a civilian. This is about deliberately murdering innocent
people who had nothing to do with the roadside bomb.
Murderers wearing the uniform are a disgrace to the uniform
and the country it stands for.

Why aren't these people as good at nailing the thousands of terrorists killing each day, like the ones who killed that innocent Catholic nurse after the Pope quoted a statement as we know that referred to Muslims. Well wouldn't that be like Jews going bananas and killing Muslims when pres of Iran says they don't need to exist? Who has been ever allowed to get away with such uncivilized acts?
