Sure! It's the person inside that counts, not the outer shell. It's the shared values, mutual respect, ability to make each other laugh that's important.
Oh, wait! One thing: can he massage my shoulders after I've been at the computer all day or doing heavy yard work and am as stiff as a board? Because no massage, no relationship. I'm not asking for a professional quality massage or long massage, just a couple of minutes to help me work the kinks out on the nights that I'm so stiff that I can't sleep (like tonight!).
Just a couple of minutes of kneading and I'm right as rain...

Steven Hawkins has been married a couple of times and he has major disabilities, and only the smartest human being alive. The world although not totally accessible is getting there, and hopefully peoples opinion of people with disabilities is also. I am physically challenged and my fiance has no problem with pushing me around in my wheelchair. Get to know the person inside and you may learn many things about the world and love itself. So walking although a good thing is not any reason to not date/marry someone who cannot not.

Think about this. If you marry a "perfect" person, and that person gets disabled in an accident, Would you stop loving her? Of course not! But if that person already has a disability, and you love her, What would you rather do? Love is Love, and the best of all, it resides in the heart. God Bless You!

Hi there...
The way I look at it is...."The ONLY disability in life is a bad attitude". I try to find the GOOD in everyone, search out the heart, because the legs have nothing to do with making your heart SMILE.
Life is to short, and you just might miss your "angel of happiness" just because someone overlooks a person who can't walk.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year....

well i guess i'd be more practical, if that someone can't really work due to their disability, i'd need to make sure i can earn enough to support us both (and also enough for some medical expenses i suppose...), and also i'd ask that someone NEVER think bad of themselves just because of that, then i think i would marry (or date) that someone.

If I liked what I saw in his heart, I would. A person's disability does not make him/her less of a human being.

If you really like someone then it should not matter what it wrong with them. If love is there then love is all that is there you should not care about anything else.

Absolutley, assuming that their mental capacity wasn't compromised as well. That would just be wrong.
