It is simple Satan has them so blinded and fooled that they can't see past it we just have to try to open their eyes up so that they might get saved. So just kepp on telling them about Jesus

I think maybe the reason they find it easier to believe in other dimensions because it seems like something thats not so much of a stretch of the imagination. Think about it. Quantum physics and the string theory have some chances of being proven or disproven completely, however, the idea of an omnipotent creator that controls everything may be a little bit more of a stretch of the imagination for some people. Who knows? Maybe they don't like the idea of not having full control over their lives. Possibly, they just have had bad experiences with the subject of religion and refuse to believe in something that is associated with that event. I'm sure every athiest has a different reasoning behind it. Just like everyone does when it comes to what they believe in.

Your statement that Atheists only believe in what they can experience with their limited senses is a lie You should be ashamed as "a follower of Jesus the Christ" to have publicly made a statement about a large group of people without verifying its veracity. First of all, Atheists do not 'choose' to believe anything. A typical Atheist is a well educated person with a greater knowledge of the bible and religion, in general, than the average christian, and a grasp of intermediate science. Our conclusions about the validity or probability of something at any point in time, is an involuntary reaction to the sum total of our knowledge and experience up to that point in time. We are, generally, smart educated people.Do you not think we would 'choose' religion and its promise of immortality if it really was simply a choice? We end up believing in things that are accepted facts, like quantum physics and those things for which there is an undeniable preponderance of evidence. I have not heard of a single Atheist who has 'accepted' string theory as being an absolute truth. We don't blindly 'believe' in it like you believe in your deities. We only accept it as a possibility or probability based on available evidence. If you see extra dimensions and string theory as "science's way of trying to explain heaven", it can only be because you have only the most cursory of knowledge of the subject. No offense, but if you do some in depth study of the subject you will see how silly trying to make that correlation is. Please take the time to absorb what I have said, so I can look forward to responding to future questions that are based on the reality of Atheism and not the misconceptions. Thank you.

String theory is barely a theory. A series of conjectures but few people are willing to accept is an absolute (you know, like science encourages...)
Quantum physics, however, has made consistent predictions in behavior and existence of charged particles and the such.
Prediction, corroborating result. Every time. That's why atheists can believe in quantum physics and not a 2000 year old error prone book which exhorts poor morality and intolerance.

The predictions of quantum theory, which is understood properly by no-one, can tell within the accuracy of one human hair's-breadth, the distance from one coast of the USA to the other. Your computer only runs on quantum principles. Please explain in what manner this enables us to understand a mysterious invisible other place accessible only after death and which apparently has the ability to tell whether we've been good or bad in our lifetimes according to the self-contractory rules of an ancient old book of myths.
Some people just don't understand what the rest of us know as "science".

First, I will preface by saying that there are very few true atheists
Romans 1:20 bears this out. In a nut shell it says: Hey,dude,God is real, check it out, look around, do you think this happened by itself? If you don't see the obvious clues, the manifestations of something much, much, larger than yourselves...then sorry can't let ya slide on this one. (men are without excuse-God made himself way too obvious.( biggest paraphrase ever recorded)
Many do not want to see. Accepting quantum physics, the string theory,or even solid givens such as gravity or thermodynamics which are taught and or theorized by man implicates or imposes no judgement reguardless of what you believe..right,wrong or indifferent).
People are afraid...Most want to believeor have faith in someone or something that imposes no threat or required action on their part.

Aren't people allowed to believe in what they want? Can't one person believe in something (say transsubstantiation) and another doesn't?
If everyone believed the same thing, we'd all be the same religions and from what I learned, there are hundreds of different sects of Christianity, so Christians don't agree on what they do/do not believe either.
Since we're individuals, shouldn't our individual views be appreciated for what they are? If you believe in the whole "God made people as individuals" then it should be a sacred thing for us to have individual views, where one athiest can believe in quantum physics and another doesn't.
In the same way that non-Christians tolerate the views of individual Christians, I think Christians should tolerate the views of others.

Isn't Quantum Physics just a higher order of reality? I think most people believe that something greater than themselves exists, even if they do not think or recognize a diety.

Its just different words. Why does it matter? If there is no time with God then why is it so specific about 7 days to make the world- probably because men wrote the Bible and at the time the number was significant. 7 days, 7 million years- its a wink to God so why do science and religious types fight? I think its silly.

Good question. I'm not sure. Not that I see that as a way to explain heaven, but I do see it as a way to explain experiences others have had with OBE or near death.

Not all Atheists believe in every single theory that comes along....we review the evidence from more then one source and we study it to the fullest extent. Unlike Christians we don't blindly believe what ever we are told.
