Nothing helps vain-ey camwhores out more than a camera with self-portrait-capable features. The Canon A630 and A640 have flip/twist vari-angle LCDs, which really help you compose the shot, and they have top-notch photographic qualities too. And the older G6 even has a remote control along with the vari-angle screen.
The older Sony DSC-F88 does a similar thing with a sexier flip-around design.
But if you really want something sexy (and what respectable camwhore doesn't want something sexy)...get the Sanyo Xacti C6, or HD1. Or the Sony Cyber-shot M2. You get decent photos, and a cool vidcam feature. There're cams out there that might take better pics (personally, I have the Fuji F30 for my p&s...nice in low-light scenes), but they won't help you snap off vanity pics nearly as well as the C6. And hey...who's kidding whom...you're not goin to be submitting these to national geographic, right? Most've them'll end up 640x480 on myspace.

Natasha, sooner or later you will want to take great photos of yourself. The camera to look at will be one that can do things with different lenses. Furthermore, you will want one that can take low light photos of yourself (your beautiful skin and eyes in candlelight...can you imagine that? I knew you could).
I would suggest you look at the Canon 400 XTi or the model it just replaced: the Canon 350XT. The 350XT is still a great camera and you can find a deal on those for about the same you would pay for a point and shoot.
Nice thing about it: it still can be used as a point and shoot! Yep, timer on that will allow you to set up a shot and slide into it, too. You can set it to ISO 1600 which is like what a cat can see: a couple candles and you are set. Available light is so much more flattering than flash, don't you think?
Don't sell yourself short, you deserve a good camera. Besides, after you master it, maybe you can use that camera to your own advantage taking pics of other pretty people. Got any hottie you would like to see with less clothes on? Yep. Thought so. A good camera is your ticket to that, too.

just get a camera phone. it's cheaper, more portable, and you can take as many shots as you like anywhere anytime.
