No easy way. They keep changing the rules. You have to have lived continuously in the UK for the last 5 years and then you can apply. You don't get the British nationality by marriage any more. Being born here is not enough. It depends on the marital status and nationality of the parents.

Are your ancestors British or are you hoping to aquire it because you want yet another passport and elementary get admission to to the european? in case your ancestors are British you'll get citizenship with the help of them (with the help of the mother and father) or an probably ancestral visa (although grandparents, you want to be a Commonwealth citizen although). If which could not the case then you extremely can be conscious for the visas and stay interior the country for 5 years then be conscious for naturalization. you have to be conscious interior the united kingdom and intend to stay/stay interior the united kingdom

Come in illegally. when caught claim political asylum. Preferably belong to a minority, also be gay and handicapped in some way. Nobody would dare challenge you.
Get a newspaper to champion your cause, look pathetic and ill-treated. Go on benefits and get a council house, claim more benefits, bring in half your family.
Then start criticising the British, our culture, our ways. Moan that it is no good, go back to speaking your own language, create a ghetto in your area and make it a no=go area for the Brits.
Ooooh sorry, got carried away. But I mean every word of it.

The only way to be a true Brit is to have grandparents that fought Hitler and parents that have lived here all their lives and to be brought up believing in fairplay, charity, education, pride, a sense of humour and a overwhelming love of football, however the country's full mate, so we don't want you.

I agree with those who say be born here.
But why do you want to be British? If you're thinking of claiming one of the many welfare state handouts, as a UK tax payer I'd say please try France instead (after all their language sounds a lot nicer!)

Go to France..jump on a lorry...arrive here and claim that you are running away from a fascist dictator country and are in fear for your life.
Then you can suffer like the rest of us British...high taxes blah blah blah.
OR
Bog off somewhere else! America perhaps...we love America and they love our exports to bits
Oh! cynical me
