Ok--the pre-heat light will come on and when it beeps and then the light goes off, the regular baking light will be on by itself. That is when the oven is pre-heated and at the right baking temperature. Then put your dish in. Good luck baking! :)

Well, if you hear a beep after 5-10 minutes, then that should be the signal that your oven is preheated. Every oven is different..I have no pre-heat light, so I'm not sure when your light goes on or off.

When you preheat the oven you set it at the desired temperature for cooking. Your preheat light will come on as you said. When the oven is heated to the desired temperature that is when your preheat light will turn off and the sound will be audible. The recipe should be placed in the oven at that time and the timer should be set for the length of time appropriated for that recipe.

You need to wait until the oven beeps and the preheat light turns on. Once you hear the beep it means that the oven is at the temperature that you set it for.
