religion is an excuse that aggressive people use for was, if there was no religion, they would find a different reason.
the old USSR, did not believe in any religion yet they tried to conquer the world.

It sure causes wars but I wouldnt say its a front for war but it sure is a big front for making money. If I remember right it is the pennicostal church that is one of the major stock holders of microsoft. Sorry but as long as men are ruling the countries there will always be war . All little boys love to play soldiers and cowboys and indians and when they grow up and have power and lots of real big toys to play with they just cant help themselves and find they just have to try all those big toys out. I know one quick way to end all wars and that would be by going back to the king and queen ages when the kings would be the ones to lead their men into battle and not sit back in some safe well protected plush cozy comfy office surrounded by servants fetching them this and that. I am sure all the leaders of the countries would think twice about start shi t if they had to be the first one out there on the battle field. Nothing pisses me off more than to see a leader of a country giving a pep talk to the soldiers over the television from the safety of an plush office and say how "we can win this battle" not "you can win this battle " but we. Kind of like when men say " we won the championship " when thier favorite team wins and they never played in one game. War sucks and so does religion. The whole bible only talks about killing and suffering. No wonder the whole world is so messed up and blood thirsty. Not one page in the bible speaks of warm loving caring gentle things.

No of course not in the case of Christianity certain denominations in the past have had bad leadership but that was not the founders intention. War is caused by man not by religion.

No one wages War against a poor enemy that has no resources.

No - any system is used to project people's attack thoughts outward. Nationalism, etc.-- all are used.
