I'm a self proclaimed wiccan. I don't know if I should call myself a witch even though I have been taking classes for a couple of months. I keep my spell & ritual infomation saved in files on my computer and I'm still working on getting my altar supplies together. Anyway, I want to know how other wiccans carry on in their daily life? I want to hear from a witch what is the daily lifestyle of a witch?

As you grow in the craft, you'll come to realize that what works for you is what works and it doesn't matter what anyone else does or says.
The daily life of a witch is whatever she chooses it to be. You could start your day with a morning ritual to thank the god/goddess for this day.. you could do this at night (some witches believe our day begins at night).. mostly we're just ordinary folks who follow an earth-based path.
If this is the path you've chosen, by all means, call yourself whatever you like. Wicca is an honorable path.. not all witches are Wiccan, but Wiccans are considered to be witches.
No need to say you are a "self-proclaimed" anything.. you are what you say you are :)

As for altar supplies.. you don't have to go all fancy with them.. you can get them from nature. For a wand, ask permission from a tree that seems right to you (other than Elder) and cut a branch.
Your altar could represent the four elements: For air, you can use a feather. For fire, you could use herbs like nettles, garlic, onion or even hot peppers. Water works just fine as its own representative, and it doesn't have to be in a fancy chalice or cauldron. For earth, dirt or salt is terrific.. or use some pretty rocks you find.

It's completely up to you. Witches of older times used whatever was available to them.. no fancy tools necessary.
It's all about connecting and doing it your way. That's what's so terrific about this way of life.

Many blessings to you on your path.

I'm not Wiccan; but I DO know and understand the religion.

All Wiccans are witches; but not all witches are wiccan.

The Wicca follow the rede that specifies the ethics of magick. Below is an abbreviated copy of the rede.

Bide the Wiccan law ye must in perfect trust

Eight words the rede fulfill "an ye harm none; do what ye will"

Remember the law of three; what ye send out comes back to thee

Practise this with mind and heart; and merry ye meet and merry ye part.

The Magick is within; It is NOT in the words or tools you use.

If the Wiccan faith answers your spiritual questions and teaches you to live in harmony with your brothers and sisters; It's a good thing.

If you want to learn more about it; the book "Wicca: A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham offers the most wholesome approach to Wicca.

I would recommend for you to avoid the books by Silver RavenWolf and several others because they teach the principles of magick; but NOT the ethics of magick.

Wiccan comes from the devil. They believe in a Higher Being. I think they are just following Satan. All their spell casting they do is just from the devil. Satan is very powerful and he is the great deciever. He does things like make wiccan people think they are doing good with their spells just to tempt people to follow him so he can have their soul. Never tempt him.

Wiccans are like all religious people: people can use it to either promote their own identity and sense of specialness (taking the symbols and rituals literally and defining themselves as special when compared to others) or they can use it to reduce their ego and specialness and get a sense of ordinariness about themselves and the world.

It is a false, human centered cult which will only lead you to hell. Accept Jesus the Christ and get a real life, now and forever. A Blessed Christmas to you. Your question is a classic example of the old statement, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing." It sounded "cool" to you, so you decided to through away your immortal soul? Silly rabbit.
