I am only afriad of the fact of death since I do not know where I am going. I am also afriad of the pain that I might go through, but I know that going on the other side means I will be with the ones I miss a lot and care about. Merry Christmas Charlie!

I don't know if I can say "afraid", because I don't believe in an afterlife and I believe that I won't feel or think anything anymore after my death and there won't be any pain or anything to be afraid of, but I want to live as long as I can because I believe that this life is all I have. So, you can say I am afraid of losing my life.

No i'm not afraid of death. Coz everyone would go to that point, everybody would die of course, it's just a matter of who goes first!... But the real question is, "have you lived at all?" Many people come to the point of death, and realized they haven't lived at all! We waste our life getting what we want, money, fame, power and a lot more. But we can't bring all those glory when we die, we had just wasted our time for nothin', when all we need to do is tell our loved ones how much we love them...I believe that life is toO short. So man, go and live life to the fullest! God didn't gave us EVERYTHING to enjoy LIFE, but he gave us LIFE to enjoy EVERYTHING! I hope I lightened your day! God bless!

Many fear the process of dying ... unknown amount of pain, etc.
And, though not "afraid", yet there can be a regret at leaving friends, relatives, etc.

But for a Christian, there is no fear of DEATH. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

We should not fear about death because it is just a beginning of our eternal life. Only those who have no belief in God and life after death will fear the death. Whereas those faithful ones who have done good and avoid the evil , they are so eager to meet their creator, they will died with no pain.
