Eternal ANYTHING except happiness would be pretty awful, and not funny. Eternal itchiness, Eternal hunger, Eternallonliness. Once you get past the initial reaction and think about it, it really is nightmarish.

So maybe you shouldn't be so mean. Just because a person has a wrong or cruel religion doesn't mean they deserve an unpleasant eternity.

"Wishful thinking" from an atheist? Doesn't this go against your belief that there is a big nothing in the afterlife?

And if there is a hell, perhaps you would explain your rational for wishing people into it? Seems like you have a lot of built-up frustration and angst. Could it be that your professed atheistic beliefs are leaving you a bit hollow and meaningless?

And no, when Christians tell you that non-believers are going to hell, they are not wishing you to go there. They are stating a fact (under their religious tenets). They do not do the condemning. instead, they are trying to alert you to this outcome in the hopes that you will exercise your freedom of choice and choose not to go to hell.

Under Christian principles, the ultimate destination is within each individual. Atheists choose an afterlife without God and he grants them their choice. Christians choose an afterlife with God and he grants them that choice as well.

So why do you vent and rant against Christians when they agree with your choice and its logical outcome? If you don't like the outcome, perhaps to spend some time considering the afterlife, the Creator and your relationship with him.

Merry Christmas!

mister atheist............... i am sorry for your life sorrow for not understanding the world. Wishful thinking .............. only someone who wasn't sure about themselves would wish something bad on anyone.

I'm sure your the most friendly, amiable, and decent person on the earth, but with an attitude like that, you will never find happiness. weather you are a religious person or not.

you should probably pick up a book and read, to educate yourself before you talk that way.

if there were no higher power, why are we alive and i guess existence is just a coincidence.

Not cool.

Hell is separation from God and not eternal torture.

Hell is done away with in; Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Are you a Biblical illiterate?

No.... if hell were true, it would be only for the really evil people, I wouldn't want anyone to go there just because they have other beliefs than me. And also when they upset me by saying I will go to hell, I still don't want them to go to hell. The whole idea is wrong and cruel.

Where did you get the idea that all religious people go to hell?
So you want people to go to hell...how evil of you... may you get what you wish for others.
