I do not know the entry requirements but i know that you do need a biometric pass port now - if u are wondering what they are if yr in the UK they should be released on the new UK passports, but if u are on a normal passport you must go back to the UK passport office and ask to upgrade to a biometric passport, depending on the waiting this it could take days or months, i can not answer that.

i have attached a website for visa forms and visa requirements to the us.
hope its any help

The best way is to get into the US to live is as a foreign investor.
Investors can obtain permanent residency status. You only need to invest in a new or existing business. You can even bring your family !

If you are unfortunate, and can not manage to invest in a new or existing business, you can marry a citizen. Then you can apply for citizenship.

I am wondering why you would want to leave the UK and live in America. As a UK citizen, you have the opportunity to go anywhere and I wonder why you want to go to the US.

The US Government has a lottery every year (really - it's true!) and the winners (40,000 of them) are given citizenship. You can send in as many applications as you like, I think. The only problem is that they decide each year which people they want. It might be Irish or Korean or whatever. Sometimes it's just Europeans. You'll have to make enquiries with the US Embassy or surf the web for more info.

Dude, I've been to the UK. It may be a little crowded in London, but man, why would you want to come here?

Why would you want to live in the USofA.. Haven't you heard from the news media we are fat nasty mean spirited Americans who kill women and children in Iraq. You remember the place where people say no terrorist are living. Mind you they are in Syria, Iran, Egypt, Jordon, and Saudi but NOT in Iraq. Even thought Sadam killed THOUSANDS of people with nerve gas he has no 'weapons of mass destruction'. That would like saying there are stars in the sky just not in the eastern sky. We are pigs according to Iran and we are dictators according to most of the Arab world. We have poor health care according to ALL liberals and geez we aren't even controlled by our government. Why in the WORLD would you want to live here?
BECAUSE WE ARE THE GREATEST AND FREEST COUNTRY IN THE THE WORLD!!! We have more to offer than ANY OTHER COUNTRY. People flock to our borders (no where else mind you) more than to sugar itself.
So go get your work visa, get a school visa, and COME TO AMERICA!!!

:-)
