Whoever it was that just went off on this guy simply because they have a husband fighting in the middle east is completely out of line. You made the point yourself, he's over there fighting so that we have the right to question unsound judgement among our governmental peers. To answer your question-it took about a year for me to wake up, at first I just thought "that collapse doesn't look right", but was overwhelmed subconciously by propaganda, I suppose. As soon as dispassionate reason kicked in, it was obvious.
