We know each other from school, (lets call him 'Gary' again) and we've been exchanging letters during the Christmas holidays so far.
In the first letter i sent to 'Gary', i asked him that if by the fact we were writing to each other it mean we were boyfriend and girlfriend, and in his reply whitch i got today, he didn't mention any sort of an answer!!
And he has had a chrush on my for AGES he even has told me!
I've replied to 'Gary's' letter also not mentioning the question again, of the fear of seeming too pushy. oh HELP

hes either shy so is feeling awkward so skips the question.. obviously he doesnt want to show his feelings too fast..
he might like you but might be seeing someone else?
but then doesnt mention it so your still into him maybe?
but then dont listen to me i might be wrong.
however dont worry though he probably does like you.. otherwise he would of probably replied "sorry notas bf/gf" but the fact he gave no answer means its most likely he does like you =)
but the fact hes also making time to send the letters must mean he likes you anyway, give it some time and see what comes up!
gd luck =)

This is cute- be happy that you are writing letters and seeing where things go- it may have just been an oversight that he didn't address the question. Boys get nervous and trip all over themselves with girls they like. I am in a similar situation w/ a man right now. Wait until you are hanging out in person and then ask him. He can't avoid you then, and he will likely tell you what you want to hear - thats what I had to do.

Unless you are in an actual real life, day to day, physical relationship, it doesn't make sense to be boyfriend and girlfriend. He probably didn't answer because he didn't want to hurt your feelings or push you away, but he is not ready to be your boyfriend if you are only writing letters at this time. Enjoy his friendship and see what develops.

At the moment you are both just catching-up on old times and I would class you as pen friends. Until you decide to meet up and start to go out together as a couple you are not boyfriend and girlfriend. He may even have a girlfriend already!

I would call him and ask him the question again. If it does not matter...than let it go...but if you are interested than just tell "Gary" how you feel! At least you will not be wondering for years if you ask!

You have two options....
1. Stop with the letters and ask him to his face or
2. Forget it, until he approaches you on the subject.
I would go for option 2

Don't be reluctant to ask questions and require answers. It's a pattern that will serve you well. The answer won't be better or worse for you not knowing.

Just leave it at that until you see if he addresses the question. Keep writing him and everything but don't take it as bf/gf until he addresses it.

Maybe he is not ready for that kind of commitment yet. Just slow down and see where it takes you. You will know when he is ready to commit.
