This is kind of a weird question, and there probably is no answer, but there is a girl who likes me (and there were plenty of other signs besides this). But I've noticed that she uses my name a LOT more than she used to. Before she would say I have a question, now it's John I have a question. conversations start with my name, IM's always start with my name, even saying Hi, it's now Hi John. Now that I think back, it was the same with other girls. I asked my brother and he agreed. So here is a another sign to look for if you think a girl likes you. Anybody else notice this? I can understand other signs like looking away quickly, or not looking you in the eye, but I don't get this on. Why do girls use your name more than usual when they like you?

Well, for me, it just makes the conversation and relationship more intimate. She's letting you know that you're just not some other guy. You're JOHN! THE JOHN!....ooh...that came out wrong...just "x" that last exclamation...

Well, one theory is that when you use someone's name in conversation, it ensures they are paying attention to you. Whenever you hear your name, you snap to attention. So now you are focused on her. Also, pay attention to the way she says your name. It's probably different than the way she would say John when she isn't referring to you. Or maybe she wants to make you imagine her saying it in bed. I hope that was helpful.

because it means they think about you a lot, so you become a part of their subconscious. If you like the girl back then just be thankful rather than boasting it here in public.

she probably using your name more to get your attention other signs are of when your talking in person she'll touch you casually as you talk

If she sends you a photo of her rack you know she likes you....She uses your name cos you told her your name.....Accuse her outright of wanting you and see what she says....

I guess it's because we usually want that person to know that it is them we are talking to - she may want other people to think that you guys are together.

I've been told I do that too, but I can't help it! I don't just do it with people I like though, people I've fond of too as friends or something. I t's a habit with me, but I donno about everyone else..
