i met a boy on holiday in ibeza and i was left alne in the hotel. he came around and first of all we were just making out but then it got a bit out of hand and i asked him too stop and he wouldn't, im only 15 but i think he date raped me! help, im too scared to tell my mum i think im pregnant

Don't worry for now about telling your mom if you're that uncomfortable. But you need to do two things: get a pregnancy test and go to a free clinic and get tested. If any of these things come out positive (as in, not in your favor), I'm sorry to say that you'd have to tell your mother. She won't get mad at you, so you don't have to worry about that. After all, it was not your fault that you were date raped. If you don't tell her that you're (God forbid) pregnant or have contracted an STD, things could get messier.

If you only THINK you are pregnant, buy a pregancy test and find out for sure. Follow the instructions carefully.

If it is negative, then don't get yourself in such a predicament again.

If it is positive, tell your mother. True, she won't be happy, but i can almost guarantee she will support you, and help you work out your options.

Pregnancy doesnt go away unless you have an abortion or miscarriage, and the longer you leave it the more your options are reduced. Get a test before the shops shut for Xmas and know what your position is.

You are not the first young girl to face this. So be brave and do something about it now.

I'm wondering if you are covering up what really happened with the story of rape. A woman or girl knows when she has been raped. If you said NO then you were raped.

If you are scared because you don't want your mom to know the full facts and so cry rape...I would stop and think now...every time a false allegation is made regarding rape...you make it hard for women who are real victims.

Regardless tell your mom NOW...you also have the worry of STDs. If you were raped tell your mom. She will be angry cause by entertaining a stranger you put yourself in danger. She will however also support you.

You HAVE to tell your mum and NOW, dont put if of for fear of a telling off cos you could be pregnant or even contracted something from this boy, you wont know until you go to the doctor for a check-up. Yes your mum will go through all sort of emotions, shocked, angry,sad and caring. This was rape and should have been reported to the police. Firstly it would be in your best interest to see your GP or local family planning centre and find out for sure if your pregnant or not and also to get more of an understanding of what your options are. Also it may be good if you get yourself checked out at your local G.U.M clinic just to safe guard yourself (they usually provide a drop in for under 16 year old where no appointment is necessary). Family Planning clinics and G.U.M clinics also offer confidential advice and practical help for free.
Look after number one! It can go either way with telling your mum it just depends on what kind of relationship you have with her and how comfortable you feel with confiding. You may be surprised as there is a chance that she might blow you away with all the support she could offer you too....

Dont be afraid. If he raped you, it is not your fault & u have nothing to be ashamed of. It is very, very important that you tell someone and see a doctor. You will need tests for STD's as well as a pregnancy test.
If you explain it all to your mum I am sure she will understand. You need her support here. Don't try to handle this alone. If you don't think you can go to your Mum, how about another adult you trust or a clinic?
I know this is a scary, mind-blowing situation, but you can get thru it.

Please tell your mother. She'll want to hear it from you and right now, she's the best person to help you.
YOu don't need to be alone. Just tell her you've got something to tell her. BTW - if you tell a boy to stop and he doesn't it is rape. The sooner you tell her, the better it is to deal with this. You don't want to be giving birth in front of your school friends, like that poor girl, now do you?

You will have to understand, what you described is a parent's worst nightmare. You are going to have to take a leap of faith and tell your Mom all. I'm sure she will be there for you. If you don't tell her, she cannot give you the help you desperately need.

Let he know *now*. You aren't going to hide it for 9 months. If you are, a simple test will confirm it. Tell her you really didn't know what was going on (and later you are sorry for being so stupid).

And he needs to be arrested if he's over 18.
