well first of all thats sad that animal patrol is only picking up dead animals and not the live ones. I mean isn't their job to SAVE animals, there should be a law saying that everyday a police officer or animal patrol who sees an animal that is a stray or even has its tag they should pick the animal and take it to the nearest shelter or at least to their owner if they happen to be close by. I mean wouldn't you feel bad if you saw an animal and you say we can't do anything about it. The police officer who told you that should feel bad because he is heartless man and he could have at least inform someone or at least take the two dogs to a shelter. IN most places I know they do pick them up wherever you live you should write a petition saying that animal patrols even if they are tamed or not tamed they should still pick them up that would be the RIGHT thing to do.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/tHhdO
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.
