You have already said it yourself that you do not want to seek you officer help or could not. But ...How sure are you that you won't relapse - this is in the mind of the probation officer.
Perhaps you should seek help from someone your officer and you know. The person could be your parents. If your parent is willing to help talk to the officer and if you are willing to quit, what's stopping you?
On the other hand you could seek a friend to talk to your officer about it. I am sure your friend is willing to help but this means you are putting a burden on your friend (should you relapse again) - do you want to do that?
What your office wants to hear is how much commitment / sacrifice you are willing to folk out. What does it mean for you to quit completely. So it does not matter whether you have someone to talk to him but that commitment or sacrifice you are willing.
Remember every addiction requires to replace it with something else. The addiction create a vacuum which you need to filled to be satisfied - what can you do about it?
Wish you all the best.

Tell your probation officer exactly what you stated here. It's a good start. Good luck.

It is best to be up front and ask for help. Otherwise they will be very hard on you and put you back in jail.
So phrase it like that. Say "I need help" and explain your situation and they fact that you don't want to be caught up in the drugs anymore.

Just tell him that you are not going anywhere fast and you want to get help before you make his job harder than it already is.
