Not likely a good answer, but if your annual salary is below $30K, it is not likely that you would get a credit card application approved. However, have you included your bonuses (e.g. 13th month) in your calculations? Did you consider your gross pay or take-home pay? You should include gross pay and bonuses, and if it is still below $30K, then it's a bit hard.

I would then suggest you get a family member to apply and get you a supplementary card instead. Or opt for a Debit Card as an alternative.

I do know that there is some bank that allowed the CC applicants to deposit money as many as they want and the cc they apply for will have the credit limit with same amount as the deposit. Ask any bank you know. There's some bank that don't allow this.

At UOB bank, opening a fixed deposit account of at least $10,000
will get you u a gold credit card.but u need to declare a certain amt of time to keep the fixed deposit before u can withdraw ur deposit. Go to any branch and enquire about the rates and so on...

u can try with some banks..but chances are...will be rejected..

work harder to move ur pay up
