DO NOT JUST "set it out" to become room temperature!!!
This could "taint" it...and you would not want your guests to get sick!
It is okay to heat it. I would put it in a large disposable roasting pan...cover it with tin foil and heat for about 10 per pound. You can pour a little marinate on it. I mix cherry juice, pineapple juice with about 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup orange marmalade together and pour this over ham before covering it with foil...the proceed to heat in a pre-heated 350 F degree oven for approximately 10 min per pound. When you take ham out ot the oven, let it set for about 15 minutes to allow the juices to settle back down into the meat. Your ham will be delicious!!!

The best home made honey baked ham ever...... Andie's Original Recipe for WPOPFHBH* Ham (Why Pay Outrageous Prices For Honey Baked Ham) For a 12 to 15 pound ham you will NEED the following: ***A deep roasting pan, dutch oven or deep baking dish just big enough for the ham to fit into with enough room to let you turn it over. ***An Ice Pick! This is very important! ***Maple syrup - buy a quart and use most of it. (or pancake syrup) ***Dry mustard, about 2 tablespoons. Optional - Whole cloves to stick in the ham, but not necessary. ***an oven Directions: 1. Trim any skin off the ham but leave some of the fat - less than 1/4 inch thickness. Score the fat down to the meat in a diamond or tic-tac-toe pattern, your choice. 2. Take the ice pick and stab the ham all over, and I mean many, many stabs. Use up some of your latent aggression. 3. Take the dry mustard and massage it into the ham. If you must, stick whole cloves into the ham, as many as you want. 4. Put the ham in the pot. Pour in the maple syrup until it comes up at least 1/2 way on the ham, a little more won't hurt, it won't be going to waste. 5. Place the ham in a COLD oven and turn the temp control to 300 degrees F. Set timer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes reduce heat to 250. and turn the ham over in the syrup. 6. Continue cooking for 3 hours for a 12 pound ham, (Cook 2 hours for a 9lb ham!) add 30 minutes for each 2 pounds over that, turning the ham every 30 minutes. This is a long, slow method that will have remarkable results. 7. At the end of the baking time, remove ham from pot, allow to drain on a rack for 20 minutes, then slice. When the liquid left in the pot has cooled, strain it through a coffee filter and freeze it, you can use it two more times. After that it loses a bit of flavor or becomes too salty. When the ham cools, you can cut it as you please.......

you can heat up the spiral cut ham the same as any other ham...
put a bit of water or orange juice (watered down) in the bottom of a pan with the ham in it too....cover with foil..and put in a 300 oven for how long it takes...about an hour and a half...check it every so often to make sure the water or juice is not all gone...baste it if you want...
You can even make a glaze for it...same as any other ham !!
the ham will be nice and warm and really tasty..
Merry Xmas !!!

Put it in the oven in a pan at like 425 for 30 min or so..this will heat it all the way thru. Your spiral ham should have come with directions tho..if not just take out of wrapping and place in pan.put in oven till hot and then serve..I absolutely love Ham..Have it every Year for Christmas.
Enjoy

RE:
Is it possible to heat up a spiral cut ham?
I don't want to serve it cold from the frig. Maybe set it out so it becomes room temp?

I put some liquid ( ginger ale) or water in the bottom of the pan, just enough to cover the bottom ,make a tent out of foil, oven at 325 , put the ham in the oven about an hour and a half before you want to serve it...you are basically "steaming it", thats how I will do mine, hope it helps.

The directions on my ham said 10 min per pound @ 275 degrees. Cover ham with foil. If you have a glaze remove foil, spread glaze over entire ham, then bake for an additional 15 min.

Just preheat your oven to about 350 degrees and then pop the ham into a pan and put it in the oven for about 15 minutes. It is not long enough to overcook or burn the ham but it is long enough to make it nice and warm for eating again. Make sure when you put it in the oven it is straight from the refrigerator and has not been sitting out.

I wouldn't just set it out. Heat in oven at 350 degrees covered loosely with tin foil. I would heat for about 20 per pound.
