There are only two possibilities: (1) He enjoys doing things with you and wants to travel and share that experience with you. (2) He wants to take you somewhere you've never been before, dump you and hope you never find your way home to be a pain in the a-ss to him again.

It's nice that he would want to share places that are cool from his experiences, but even better to have both of you explore areas neither of you have been. You don't want him taking you places he's familiar with from a past relationship...... As long as it's something new for both of you. The world is our oyster......check it out!!
