Why do people drive with cell phones stuck to the side of their head and cause accidents?

Because they are inconsiderate or others or just stupid.. just that simple

Could be that they need to be in that lane for a certain exit (they do have left exits) or maybe the highway diverges in two directions. That happens on my way to work each day. If you aren't in the exact lane, you'll end up in Hartford instead of Waterbury---about 40 miles off track.

Could also be transmission problems that they didn't know about. A little respect and consideration on your part honestly won't hurt. Just get in the other lane, pass them, and get over it already.

They may be overtaking a vehicle in the right lane that is going slower than they are. Be patient, they will probably move over when space allows.

Because any idiot can get a driver's license. In many other countries, you have a graduated license and you actually have to learn how to drive a car, including emergancy handling.

I have done this once. Only because the person behind me was ridding my bumper and I wanted them to back off. If you slow down enough they will back off or go around.
