I'm thinking the dough would stick to the tinfoil and that's why wax paper is needed, because of the wax. Plastic wrap maybe? Don't have parchment paper either :(

Don't use foil, plastic wrap is much better for this. Try sprinkling a little powdered sugar on the wrap before you put the dough on it, it will stick a little less, if at all.

Plastic wrap will work just fine too. I've also used aluminum foil. But I think I'd go with the plastic wrap.

spray the foil with some non stick cooking spray or flour the dough before you rap it. Happy Christmas!

sure you can, eithe foil or plastic wrap is fine, you just need them cold and in a log form,
