Most people I know take them out anyway. What a waste. Why not just have a gherkin burger that you can order. When I have actually asked to have a burger without one I have to wait five minutes and then the burger either comes with NO garnish at all (just meat and bread) or it still has the bloody thing in it!! Maybe gherkins have an addictive quality so you keep coming back for more?

Gherkins make you salivate, so you think the burger is tastier... (I think that's the way it works for the people who like gherkins)

I love the pickle in my burger .It would not be the same without .But my husband does not , besides the tomatoes he also asks to leave out .Maybe its the fast food chains you go to .As when he asks for these condiments to be not made with his burger they do not have a problem with it and it is just as fast as my burger .
My opinion is if they do this do you , then they don't have the right for your business find somewhere else to buy your burger ! their is so many fast food places.

i personally like the fact they are on there, as i always order my burger without it,, and specify the garnish i do want, this way i assume that they have just cooked my burger, as opposed to just taking the pickle off one that has been sitting there, lol,,, i dont mind the wait,, i do mind burgers that have been premade,,,,,,, i also order my fries with no salt, all that salt is bad for you,, plus i get fresh fries, and since im waiting on the burger, i can wait for the fries to cook also (though its amazing how many places will take those unsalted fries, dump them in a salty bin,,, then scoop them with a salty scoop,,,,) when my mom could have absolutely no salt, it was funny to take them back in,,,, say i wanted no salt, them say they are, then me point out all the little salt granules on them , !1

i adore them! I love the fact everyone takes them out as I always get them! Adds to the taste as most fast food joints make dreadful burgers anyway
