I am a Canadian male, age 56. I am looking for a Pen Pal in Great Britain. I have visited Whales (Swansea), a while back in my youth, had a great time there. I am looking for a pen pal there. If anyone knows of a website that does not charge, I would appreciate it. I also have a fondness for Scotland, as I use to read a lot of fictional books on historical characters, again in my youth. Would love to communicate on a regular basis with someone in Scotland. If anyone knows of a specific website where I can form a pen pal relationship I again thank you.

Hi I'm in the UK Ive just done a search for penpal sites for you. But unless you are a kid or a young adult there does not appear to be anything for our age group.
Maybe I should build a website for one! You could be my first member LOL
You might be luckier going into a Yahoo chatroom and use that as your starting point.

Don't you just love Swansea? I know I do. I do talk from time to time with a friend from Swansea Wales but I don't know if he wants to invite more people in his life right now. I went to Swansea last Summer and the Summer before to meet him in person. I bought a lot of books there because the library was closed at the time. They have it reopened again however, so perhaps you can go there and get a book to read on the historic events. I picked up one regarding Swansea and the three night blitz. It is amazing what these people went through and still continued to live life as normally as they could.
