You need to answer the question, why are you having headaches.
Are you drinking eight or more glasses of water each day? When you have a headache, perhaps the glass of water that chases your aspirin down your throat is curing your pain and not the aspirins. Dehydration will cause headaches and other problems.
Another simple solution:
Get a lime, lemon or other citrus fruit. Cut the fruit in half, rub on forehead. Rub on forehead. Rub on forehead. It is the same stuff they advertise on TV.
Another solution.
Rub your fingers on your temples and the area between your eyes, just above your nose. Your fingers' pressure will slightly restrict the blood flood to your brain.. This will give you temporary relief.
Do you get enough quality sleep?
Too much stress?
Do you smoke?
Do you drink too much?
Eating certian foods?
Are you eating a correct diet?
Look for the cause of the headache to avoid the headache.

It depends what causes the headache.
Best thing to do is lay down in a dark, quiet room. Close your eyes, get comfortable, and relax. You can put a cool or warm cloth on your forehead. It doesn't directly affect the headache, but it can make you feel better, which in turn will help the headache faster.
Reflexology has discovered that the big toe is linked to the area of the brain where headaches often occur. You can take your foot and rub the bottom of your big toe in circular motions. It HAS worked for me in the past, I would try it.

I use a couple of lavender oil drops on my temples, or a long soak in the bath. Depends how much time I have. I usually find that my headaches are caused from stress and being tired, so the lavender seems to relax me. If I need to stay awake, the temples works well, if I don't need to I put some on my pillow and have sweet dreams.
I have also heard that camomile tea works, but I never liked the taste of it.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

You should try to get yourself a good nap with a black piece of material on your eyes. That will calm out your head, and your pain will be off! ;)
