Yes.
Not strange. Not neccessarily recommended either ....
Think it through carefully ... all my ex (yes, I married him) really wanted was an arm jewel/trophy wife and a "slave" in more ways than one.
Not all are like that ... just be careful .. get outsiders opiinions (your friends, family ) they will see things more clearly than you.
Esp if you are under 35 ... really really consider all aspects ... then make an informed decision.
I was 22, he was 39. There is nearly as much a difference now between my current hubby and I (48/62) but now we are well-matched of same generation ... because he has younger mindset, and also because of our more experienced years.
12-20 years difference for someone under 30-35 is just too much in practicality.

I was married to a guy that was 11 years younger than me. It would have lasted, but ! There is always a BUT !
Once he turned 25 he decided he wanted kits of his own. Although we had discussed my not being able to have children prior to the marriage.
So even though all things are discussed there is something to come back and bite you !
But then sometimes a little nibble never hurts anyone !

Just think of it as progress;
If a 40 yr old has a 10 yr old , he is 4 times as old as her.
When he is 45, she is 15 ,only 3 times as old as her.
Then when he is 60 , she will be 30, that is just 2 times as old as her. How many years will it take for them to be the same age ???

If you are of legal age and you are attracted to each other, then it is okay to date. For some reason, I have always been attracted to older men. However, my relationships with older men have not been good. They are often turned off by my immaturity. My relationships with younger men have lasted longer.

If you're 30 an he's 48, its alright, you're both mature adults, working and know what you want in your life. If you're 15 and he's 33 however, its kinda perverted.

i had one with 14 years difference, it was nice, i learned a lot and he treated me like his pure little angle; it was nice; i enjoyed that kind of treatment and it was fun; but that's not how i want to spend my life like; being with someone near your age helps a lot in keeping the relationship fresh; because of both of you live like that, but if someone is older; then the pressure will be on you to make everything exciting :)

It is weird. Date men your own age, because when you get a bit older you might have trouble finding people to date. Good luck!
