Learn to use your body as a shocks. Stay loose and absorb the landings by bending your needs and elbows. That will take some of the harshness of landing out, Also try to land even with the back side and maybe the back wheel just before the front. Never land nose first. The basic things with landings though is to just stay loose and keep practicing.

Buy some decent bmx videos for inspiration. good ones out now on www.derelictbmx.com, www.prettyshady.com and www.barendbmx.co.uk. And build a landing - landing to flat is always going to hurt
