According to the Bible they are not the same gods as the God of the Bible. Just because we use the same name for a god does not mean it is the same. You need to look at the nature or description of the God to see if it is the same as the Bible. If you describe Allah of the Muslims and God of the Bible they are two totally different entities. To begin one is monothiestic, the other a trinity. Pauls said in 2 Corinthians 11:4 "For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted..." They may use the same name (Jesus) but they are not the same god. Study the Bible so that you may know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32)

We don't all pray to the same God. Just take a look at what's out there. And we obviously don't have the same Bible. I have a feeling this is a question meant to bait.
P.S. Atheism is a religion too. They just hide behind what they like to pass off as "academic" discussion but an atheist is someone who has faith that God does not exist. However, unless they can show conclusively that He doesn't they are all just exhibiting their faithful wishing. Nothing more.

One reason is the different Bible versions out there. Each religion re-writing the Bible to support their doctrine. The only REAL Bible is the King James Version Bible. If we all used the same Bible....the REAL Bible, there would not be any confusion.
1Cr 14:33 For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

We do not all use the same Bible. Jews use the Tanakh-what Christians call the OT. Christians use it, plus the NT. Muslims use the Qur'an. Jews and Muslims believe in One God---------there is no G-d but G-d. And, Christians have the mistaken opinion that Jesus is G-d.
Hindus have only One G-d, and many other religions do, too. But, these religions do not use the Bible.

Yes,I agree that the Bible is virtually the same. There have been translators who to suit their own beliefs have altered certain words to suit themselves. However, the general theme of the Bible is still the same. That is,God's Kingdom and what it will do for mankind.
As for praying to the same God.No I disagree with you there.
Many pray to a 'trinity'God - three Gods in one.
Others pray to Jesus and call Him God.
Others just pray to "God".A nameless entity.
It is interesting to note that Satan is referred to as a 'god' in the Sciptures(2Cor.4:4)
And then there are others who pray to God Almighty, whose name is Jehovah. This is the only true God,and that is the God that I pray to and worship.(Ps.83:18).
So you see,we don't all pray to the same God,do we?

Why are there so many different types of plants and animals or people? These are all just different expressions of the same thing. Religions are different expressions of the same thing as well. We are all on the road of rediscovery of realizing that we came from God and are returning to God. Religion is just one way of expressing this.

Whoa! Back up. Not all religions believe in God nor do they use the Christian bible.
AS for the Christian religion, put simply: A group of people didn't believe in the concepts of the church they were going to and then formed their own church (religion).
That is very simply put and there is much more to it-but that is the basic idea..

Salvation is different from religion. 100 church denominations can profess Jesus as Christ and Saviour. Still same God with minor differences (rapture, no rapture), still meet in heaven.
