I was discharged from the army after serving 4 years for medical reasons, I even tried to get back in but the recruiters denied me. What are some good volunteer services I could do? I was thinking about the Red Cross, or even the Peace Corps if thats even still around. Anything else?

Depends what you want to do.. There are loads of volunteer services. Even just on the mililtary bases they are always looking for volunteers.

But Peace Corps, USO, Habitat for Humanity etc...

Get involved with Habitat for Humanity especially if you have some skills in that area. It is rewarding on all levels man. Trust me on this.

If you don't have skills no problem, it is an excellent opportunity to learn. If you own a house this is the best opportunity to learn how to fix things and save lots of money on labor.

Try it once and let us know how it worked out.

Take care.
