My boyfriend and I don't really have anywhere to go hang out together. We both live with our parents, and we're both 18. We can't really hang out at our houses because we constantly feel like the rents are watching us, and like we can't just be ourselves. We've tried that sex in the car thing for a while, and it's just not the best. Haha. He's moving out of his parents' house soon, but we need somewhere to be together before then. We've tried hanging out with a mutual friend of ours, but his roommates are a pain in the ***. We're both poor college kids, so money is kind of a factor here. Besides, I end up paying for most of the things we do anyway. Yeah, the girl pays in this relationship. We live in what most people would call the "boonies". It's pretty bad. Any suggestions on things we could do?

well, just so you know: my question doesn't really have much to do with sex. and the fact that i have sex with my boyfriend really is of no consequence. i'm not interested in receiving lectures about what i should and shouldn't do. please, helpful suggestions only.

I had this same problem when I was 18. All you want is a little privacy, and it's not always easy to find.
We got by with meeting directly after school when our parents were at work. That way we could...ahem...have a little time to ourselves. Much better than the car which was awkward as hell. Anyway, usually once that was out of the way, dollar movies became an excellent hang-out. 1 dollar per person and you pretty much got 2 hours together in an uncrowded theater. You couldn't do much talking, but it's nice to just sit there for a while and enjoy each other's company.
I'd also recommend late-night walks if you have any parks around. Very good when there's a slight chill; few people are around and the night is still and quiet. In fact, this is a good time to walk around and check out people's Christmas lights.
There's a couple of cheap suggestions off the top of my head. Good luck!

Try and avoid the sex thing. That could get you into trouble!!!! Did you ever think that maybe your parents are there for a reason??? They did bring you into this world you know!!! Why don't you try playing some board games with your family, it could turn out to be fun!!!

you're rushing too much on the sex thing.. maybe there's a hidden meaning on what's happening.. it means daon't do it, it's not the right time, or even not the right person.. who knows, in the future, you might even thank it didn't happen..
